It started with a simple frustration: why does AI have to be so complicated and expensive? While everyone else was building bigger, more power-hungry black boxes, our bootstrapped team in the Netherlands decided to ask a different question: what if AI could combine the best of both worlds?
The key insight: neurosymbolic AI. Combine neural networks' pattern recognition with symbolic reasoning's explainability. Let neural learning handle adaptation whilst symbolic constraints provide transparent logic. Running on regular computers instead of massive data centres, achieving 96% energy savings. Explainable AI that shows exactly how every decision is made.
