Peter Vieveen is a data management pioneer and educator who has trained hundreds of professionals at leading European organizations and academic institutions. Since 2017, he has been lecturing at University of Applied Sciences Utrecht, affiliated with the Research Group for International Business and Innovation, and at CIBIT Academy, where he developed a new data management curriculum with DAMA NL. He teaches Data Management, Privacy Law & Security (with an ethical approach to GDPR), Data Modeling, and Analytical Skills. Throughout his career, Peter held senior management positions at major organizations including AEGON, AVIVA, IND, ENTSOE, and TenneT. As former President of DAMA NL (2012-2023) and current board member and strategic advisor at Dweve, Peter guides our certification programs and ensures our educational content meets the highest professional standards. His early work with neural networks in the 1990s gives him unique insights into the evolution of AI technologies.
